Well now you can enjoy the Canadian Rockies, plus a lot more, as we experience Vancouver and Vancouver Island, Go Whale Watching, Cruise the Inside Passage and then travel by train passing wonderful scenery. You also get the opportunity to enjoy Jasper National Park, Banff and Lake Louise, all fully escorted for piece of mind.

Visiting Vancouver and Vancouver Island, a Cruise throught the Inside Passage and then travelling the Canadian Rockies by Train. What an Adventure!

Day 1
Arrival into Vancouver

After arriving at Vancouver, we will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for a two-night stay. After checking in, the rest of the day is free to enjoy this wonderful city. We will meet tonight for a welcome dinner to meet your tour manager and fellow travellers.

Day 2
Vancouver City Tour

After breakfast you will get to know Vancouver on a City tour. Highlights of the tour will include Chinatown, the Burrard waterfront inlet and if you dare the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the bridge that’s partly glass and crosses a canyon.

Day 3
Vancouver Island

Today we will take a ferry across the Georgia strait to Vancouver Island. The island enjoys a mild year round climate, we will spend the next 2 nights in Victoria. The Grand Empress Hotel and royal BC Museum are just two of its highlights.

Day 4
Butchart Gardens and Whale watching.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy a morning visit to the world famous butchart gardens, here over a million plants are just waiting to be viewed along with the beautifully manicured gardens.

This afternoon’s tour takes us on a whale watching cruise, hopefully you may get the chance to spot Killer, Humpback, Grey and Orca Whales in their natural setting.

Day 5
Pacific Rim National Park and Tofino

It’s farewell to Victoria today as we travel north to the Trans-Canada Highway. We’ll pass the city of totems, Duncan, the famous painted murals in the former logging town of Chemainus before making a stop at the Old Country Market at Coombs, here you can often view the goats grazing on the roofs of its log houses.

Continuing into the lakes and mountains that lead us to enter the Pacific Rim National Park. We arrive in Torfino late afternoon and check into our hotel.

Day 6
Pacific Rim National Park

Today you get to enjoy the spectacular national park scenery. Enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace before boarding our boat for a bear watching cruise, to hopefully see tidal black bears looking for crab or other sea fish to eat.

Day 7
Campbell River

We travel inland and cross to the opposite side of the island, we will view the Cathedral Grove, worth the short walk, famous for its stand of Douglas Firs. We arrive in Campbell River this afternoon, the gateway to the remote wilderness of northern Vancouver Island and dubbed the “Salmon Capital of the World”.

Day 8
Campbell River - Port Hardy

Today we have a leisurely morning, you may want to stroll along the river or see how good you are at Salmon Fishing. During the afternoon we travel the final part of Vancouver Island by travelling north and Port Hardy for an overnight stop. We will enjoy a dinner as we look forward for the start of our great adventure.

Day 9
Cruising the Inside Passage

We have a very early start today, as we board the BC Ferries ship for a cruise through the island dotted wilderness of the Inside Passage, this mountain fringed trip is considered one of Canada’s greatest journeys. Look out for Whales, sea lions and rare eagles as the ship heads through the icy waters. Arrival in Prince Rupert will be late in the evening, but the journey will be one to remember.

Day 10
Train Journey towards the Rocky Mountains

Today we board VIA Rails famous Skeena Train for the 2 day journey east, towards the Rocky Mountains. You will enjoy stunning views from the train as it travels through the spectacular scenery of coastal ranges and forest landscapes, once the hunting ground of fur trappers. As we travel, you can enjoy breakfast, a cold lunch and hot evening dinner, served to you by the friendly on board staff, we spend the night in the town of Prince George, which sits on the banks of the Fraser River.

Day 11
Yellowhead Pass - Jasper National Park

We enjoy a second day on board the train as it journeys over the Yellowhead Pass, passing towering Mount Robson and into the historic railroad town of Jasper by early evening, the gateway to Jasper National Park.

Day 12
Jasper National Park

After a restful night and a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we head out to explore the stunning landscape this area has to offer. The tour includes a ride on the Jasper Tramway, a historic cable car line, a visit to Maligne Lake, famous for its turquoise waters framed by its many small pine forest clusters and snow-capped peaks.

Day 13
Icefields Parkway - Lake Louise

Today we will experience the Icefields Parkway, it carves through the heart of the Canadian Rockies and is often regarded as one of North America’s most scenic routes. We will take a short stop at Lake Louise, frozen for most of the year and set against the backdrop of the Victoria Glacier. With so many photo opportunities, we sadly have to leave and make our way to Banff, our final destination on this Canadian Adventure.

Day 14
Banff

On the final day you can explore Banff to the full. The Canadian Rockies capital gives you a choice of things to do. We have included the cable car ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain and you also have the opportunity to go to surprise corner viewpoint, overlooking the famous Banff Springs Hotel. To really enjoy Banff to the full why no enjoy a helicopter flight over this great mountain wilderness (Extra Cost). This evening we will have a farewell dinner with all of our new made friends and share our memories of the fantastic adventure together.

Day 15
Departure Day

Depending on your departure time, you may have time for further exploration before we transfer you to Calgary airport for your onward flight.

What's the minimum number for this tour

The minimum number will be 2 people, however for a private escorted tour, the minimum will be 10, this would include a fully escorted tour from day 1 to day 15.

Is this tour suitable for Children

Yes, this is a good tour for children, but not infants.

Is it good for singles
